Silas’s first Halloween. We had all these creative, hilarious ideas for costumes, but it came down to what we already had for free. Plus, he loves to wear it. Would wear it everyday if he could. Heck, I would wear it to teach today if I could; it’s super-cozy.

My dear husband means it’s Silas’ second Halloween, but really the first he’s been able to enjoy. I really wanted to dress him up as a circa-1970s Olympic runner (Prefontaine), Bill Murray (Zissou), but suddenly my boy became all about tigers.
So a tiger he was. He can growl and everything.
I just love him.
More on our fun day later.
